The latest addition to Surrey’s pub scene has arrived, as The Station Tap opened its doors in Camberley on Monday 13th May following a £250,000 investment.
A stone’s throw from the railway station, the site of the former Surrey Arms is ‘all change’ as a quarter of a million has been injected to transform the pub into the town’s go-to destination for authentic Craft Beer, Cocktails and delicious food.
Fully refurbished in an urban, industrial style and finished with reclaimed brickwork and furniture in colourful fabrics, the new pub has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with quirky bric-à-brac adorning the walls and backbar, reflecting the local history of the area. By night, the music can be dialled on the dancefloor and bookable VIP areas, including booths, are also available for those extra special occasions.
What’s more, with plasma TVs loaded with BT Sport and Sky Sports and a revamped outdoor space, sports fans will be all set to catch the last football fixtures of the season with a pint of one of the pub’s eight craft beers or 13 craft ciders in hand, including the local brews Siren Craft and Pilgrim.
The pub’s spirit emporium boasts almost 20 different gin -from Gordon’s and Tanqueray, to Sipsmith, Bathtub and Pinkster-, and comes with a useful pairing guide so customers can find the perfect drinks according to their taste. Cocktail lovers can enjoy a tipple from the wide selection, including everybody’s favourite Pornstar or Espresso Martinis, Mojitos, Brambles and Singapore Slings.
The food menu is loaded with hand-stretched sourdough pizzas, juicy burgers, pub classics and small plates, all with Vegetarian versions available.
