The Bannatyne health club in Hastings is expanding its fitness classes to react to the current pandemic restrictions with the introduction of outdoor classes.
The timetable includes Boot Camp, Yoga and Stretch and Flow. Up to 30 people can safely participate in the classes in the grounds of the Bannatyne Hotel Hastings where the club is located.
Dan Murphy, general manager at the Bannatyne Health Club Hastings, said: “Members have embraced our new procedures since re-opening as they understand we need to keep them and our staff safe.
“Classes within the club are still going ahead but with smaller groups to ensure social distancing so we decided to utilise the fabulous outdoor areas we have and, weather permitting, add extra options outside where we can have more people participating in a safe manner. If the British weather is inclement, we have the option to use the very large Montgomery Suite within the hotel for the yoga classes.
“The new class environment has proved very popular already with members and we’ve been delighted with the take up.”
