Local signage centre, FASTSIGNS Maidstone, has won an award for its work with Kent-based E-commerce expert, Must Have Ideas.
The visual solutions provider, which is part of the FASTSIGNS UK franchise network, has beaten off competition from 25 other signmakers across the country. The team, who are based at the Integra Business Park, were presented the award at the FASTSIGNS UK convention and awards ceremony 2021, which took place at Staffordshire’s St George’s Park.
Each year, the global signage and visual communications specialist’s annual convention recognises the franchise network’s successes over the past 12 months. It brings the FASTSIGNS UK teams and suppliers together to help share industry knowledge, culminating in a grand gala dinner after the two-day convention.
Following a period of investment into its office and warehouse space, Must Have Ideas – which works with Lorraine Kelly as its brand ambassador – commissioned a significant amount of signage from FASTSIGNS Maidstone. The project comprised a selection of large-scale solutions, including a 22-metre long illuminated building sign, loading bay signs and over 300 linear metres of window graphics.
The team also provided graphic design services, and assisted the company with securing planning permission, despite the complex nature of the activity.
Muhannad Ziyadah, managing director at FASTSIGNS Maidstone celebrated the success of the centre:
“This project really tested the full range of our skillset, covering almost every type of signage solution as well as requiring a lot of consultation from the design stages and throughout the production timeline.
“I’m proud of my team for completing this demanding project on time, within budget and to incredible standards. We know how important it is to maintain our customers’ reputation, and we’re thrilled to have worked with such an established local business.”
The team at FASTSIGNS Maidstone prides itself on its work with the community, providing end-to-end solutions for businesses such as K Sports, and regularly running a number of charity initiatives.
Speaking after the awards evening, John Davies, managing director at FASTSIGNS UK said:
“The determination of our team never fails to impress me. After navigating the difficulties of Covid-19, every franchise has emerged stronger than ever. They’ve been there as industries have reopened again, helping them to realise lots of exciting marketing projects.
“Muhannad and his centre’s work with Must Have Ideas is a prime example of this. It was a true collaborative effort between two brilliant businesses, showcasing the power of teamwork to help push even the most ambitious projects through.”
