A garden party organised by a Bognor Regis based care home had family members from four generations attending.
MHA Greenways organised the garden party for staff and residents and had plenty of activities and entertainment on the day.
There was a cake and tea sale as well as refreshments, a raffle and a children’s entertainer.
The home managed to raise £163, which will go towards the amenity fund to help the home organise activities such as day trips for residents
Joanne Mitchell, activity coordinator said: “The garden party was very special, and we had a great turnout.
“We had family members of the residents as well as staff coming in with their children which was great to see.
“The residents really enjoyed it and I think it was nice for them to connect with people outside of the home.
“Some families had their grandchildren and great grandchildren, so the party managed to bring four generations together.
“The weather was great, and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
“The children’s show allowed the parents to chill out and have a bit of time for themselves and mingle with other parents.
“The money raised will go towards the amenity fund, for which we already have some ideas so the contribution from everyone is highly appreciated.”
