A new fragrance-free air freshener, endorsed by Allergy UK, has been developed by scientists and innovators at Cambridge-based Aqdot that tackles the embarrassment of the smells associated with living with a Stoma.
Oderase is the first and only fragrance-free, odour erasing bathroom spray in the UK. It utilises a new technology to instantly eliminate bad smells.
People living with a Stoma can sometimes feel acute discomfort if they are forced to use public toilets, or a friend’s facilities.
The technology used in Oderase is patented. The bad odour molecules in the air are quickly attracted to the Oderase odour eliminator, which in turn captures the bad odours and erases them.
It is different from other air fresheners because it is so effective at erasing bad odours that it does not need to contain any masking, tell-tale fragrances.
Mark Wrighton, Marketing Leader at Aqdot said: “Oderase is a highly effective odour eliminator powered by our proprietary technology that can make a tangible difference for people living with a Stoma.”
“Oderase is small enough to put into a handbag or pocket but powerful enough to take away unpleasant smells without the lingering, tell-tale artificial fragrances most air fresheners leave behind.
“It is a real game-changer in taking away the embarrassment and worry of leaving behind an unpleasant smell when using the toilet.”
Oderase is sold in a pump action, non-aerosol spray of 100ml at £4.99. Each bottle contains up to 500 spritzes. It is currently exclusively available to buy online at www.oderase.co.uk and www.ocado.com.
