The Agency team at Velocity Commerce, an Amazon Agency based in Cambridge, has made a number of new hires over the past month. Key to sustaining and developing the Agency’s continued levels of growth, the new hires have diversified and increased the expertise within the business and the team shows no signs of slowing down.
The new starters will help drive the company forward as a full-service international Amazon Agency, which harnesses the power of Amazon to directly connect brands with new global audiences.
Joining the team as Managing Director is Danny Coe. Danny brings a wealth of retail and eCommerce experience to the team, having worked as a senior Sales Director for over 15 years within the Consumer Electronics and Software Entertainment industry, including: Belkin, Fossil, HTC, Activision and Nintendo.
Danny comments: “It’s a real honour for me to join such a fast paced, innovative team at Velocity. We have big plans ahead, which have already started with a bang. Each of the new hires brings with them a diverse range of skillsets, expertise and experiences which are invaluable for our Agency clients.”
Responsible for strategic client account management, operational management, data-driven decision making and digital marketing, Ricky Joshi joins the team as Amazon Account Manager. Having previously worked managing eCommerce channels and helping a number of private label and brand owners successfully establish product catalogues across multiple categories on marketplaces, Ricky brings with him important knowledge to support the Agency’s clients with their Amazon listings.
Also joining the team is Persis Godt, Marketplace Administrator, who holds a degree in German and Translation Studies and has completed an internship in Marketing and eCommerce at an international firm based in Frankfurt. Persis will work alongside clients at the Agency to ensure their listings on marketplaces stay optimised and up to date. Her role will include SEO, content creation and translation, and campaign management, and, being a German speaker, Persis’ skills will also be invaluable for managing sales on international marketplaces and securing new overseas clients.
PJ Scott, Co-founder and Director, Velocity Commerce, comments: “The way eCommerce is constantly evolving presents both challenge and opportunity for brands and businesses to keep up and stay ahead of the game. I am so pleased to be able to welcome so many new members to the Agency team, bolstering our capacity to help brands build their presence and drive product sales on Amazon.”
