After only one year on from adding lettings to Jacobs Steel’s list of estate agency services, the firm is delighted to announce that its Broadwater branch in Worthing has become its dedicated lettings division focusing solely on rental properties.
The decision to offer landlords and tenants a designated office was made following unrivalled success of the lettings division, which has also seen their team grow from just one person to four. The small team are now the number one letting agent in Worthing*, and have just been shortlisted in the UK’s leading estate agent annual event – The Negotiator Awards.
In celebration of their growth and for the benefit of their customers, Jacobs Steel made the decision not to increase their landlord fees following the introduction of The Tenant Fees Bill 2019, which came in to force in June.
The growth of the business will also see Jacobs Steel’s other five branches benefiting from the expansion, with teams in its Worthing, Findon, Lancing and Shoreham offices all being expanded.
Pat Barton, Managing Director of Jacobs Steel, said: “After receiving many enquiries over the years, last September we decided to re-enter the rental market. Just one year on and this sector is flourishing for us, so we are offering a dedicated branch to ensure best practice for rental related enquiries.
“We believe that our continued success is due to our extensive local knowledge and established reputation across the community.”
