Pupils at Elmswell Primary School in Suffolk recently received a donation of reflective kit bags from David Wilson Homes to help them shine bright whilst walking to and from school now darker nights are here.

The five star housebuilder gave the school 60 high-vis kit bags for its pupils to ensure they can be easily seen by motorists.

Jane Ash, Headteacher at Elmswell Primary School, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to David Wilson Homes for our high vis kit bag donation. We were thrilled to accept the bags and our pupils will enjoy using them to and from school.”

Elmswell Primary School is located near the homebuilder’s Abbots Green development on Old Stowmarket Road and the donation of reflective kit bags is another part of David Wilson Homes’ outreach to the local community.

The donation follows Road Safety Week in November which encourages everyone to take action to prevent casualties and make roads safer by promoting responsible road use.

Annette Hurst, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes Eastern Counties, said: “We want to ensure that pupils in the communities where we build remain visible now the darker nights are here and our donation has hopefully helped Elmswell Primary School continue to keep everyone safe.”

David Wilson Homes high vis kit bags will be particularly useful following Road Safety Week and beyond, with their features set to benefit pupils in their future journeys when out and about in the winter months.
