Britain’s biggest Bingo brand Buzz Bingo has officially opened in Woking – as new research reveals people in the South of England enjoy the comradery of Bingo and play to combat loneliness.

On Saturday 9th February, the Buzz Bingo team officially declared the club open, with a celebratory launch party where all customers were in for a chance to win a £500 mega prize draw on the night.

Local Marketing Business Partner Claire Ashton said: “The Woking club has a real community feel and it’s fantastic to see the team celebrate their official launch, with customers old and new.”

Buzz Bingo is the UK’s largest chain of Bingo clubs, with over 100,000 Bingo players winning nearly £3million every week. New research compiled by MIDiA Research on behalf of Buzz Bingo has revealed that Bingo fans are happier than most. It showed 70% of Bingo players said that they consider themselves to be happy, compared to 63% of all people. With social media fuelling predominantly negative news, Buzz Bingo believes that the nostalgic game could be an antidote to a deflated nation. Chris Matthews, CEO at Buzz Bingo said: “Bingo appeals to people of all ages, from all walks of life. It’s a fun, safe, judgement-free night out with games, dinner and drinks, all for less than £20. We designed Buzz Bingo clubs to make socialising and being part of a local community easy, and research shows that Bingo players are more likely to have a positive outlook on life than others. Our colleagues are friendly, fun and supportive, and always delighted to help you have a great night out with friends and family.”
